Luxury Hotel

Cast in a 19th century palace near Via Montenapoleone and Duomo, Hyatt brings an avant-garde interpretation to their premium Park Hyatt brand in Milan that's one of the best in the brand. Visitors arrive to a serine design space cast in creamy limestone and onyx accents within a lobby lounge capped in glamorous glass copula designed by Ed Tuttle. Furnishings mix mid-century modern sofas and loungers with more mundane club chairs in forgettable fabrics. An adjacent lounge features windows that face the opposing Galleria Vittorio Emanuele with more airy feel for afternoon cocktails and late-night drinks. An in-house eatery, Ristorante VUN, is by far the most formal space in the hotel with its ash-leather décor and Italian menu conducive to a stop in nearby Park Bar before or after dinner. The in-house spa and gym continues the limestone of the lobby with well-sized space for morning workouts.

The Room

Entry-level Park Kings are well sized with unique architectural layout that includes limestone detailing, Venetian stucco and hand-blown Murano lamps. Muted and stylish, creams and beige define the color palette with small seating area that’s a bit larger with separate living area with leather sofa and club chair in select Park Deluxe rooms. All bathrooms include deep soaking baths and octagonal rain shower carved of travertine with Laura Tonatto toiletries. The top floor Presidential Suite is one of the best in Milan with well-styled living room and dining area in addition to a large private terrace with views of Milan.
